Falconbridge Mission was part of the St. Mark's Anglican Parish (Garson, Ont.).
The Falconbridge area started its development in 1928 and 1929, after the nickel mine shaft was begun; homes, streets, a school house, and utilities were constructed and installed. In 1930 services were held in the school house or in the community hall by Rev. C. C. Simpson of All Saint's Anglican Church (Coniston, Ont.). In 1931, the congregation at Falconbridge agreed to meet at the Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd (Garson, Ont.) after realizing how far Rev. Simpson travelled to deliver his services.
