St. John the Baptists Anglican Church (Clear Lake, Ont.) is part of the multi-point St. Paul's Anglican Parish (Uffington, Ont.).
There was interest in constructing a church for the Clear Lake community as early as 1891, when the All Saint's Anglican Church in Lewisham was closed and the proceeds from the sale of property be assigned to the would-be church in Clear Lake. Although there was interest in building a church as early as this, the construction did not begin until the autumn of 1932. The land was cleared and the foundation begun at the close of this year.
