History Biographical: 

All Saints' Anglican Parish (Missanabie, Ont.) was founded in 1888 by the Rev. John Sanders, an Ojibway, who was the first Christian missionary in the area.  He was educated at Horden Hall (Moose Factory, Ont.) and at St. John's College in Winnipeg, Manitoba.  Sanders was ordained in 1876 by the pioneer first Bishop of Moosonee, the Rt. Rev. John Horden. 

The parish was transferred from the Diocese of Moosonee to the Diocese of Algoma in 1898 and included White River, Ont. as a second point to the parish.

Incumbents of All Saints' Anglican Parish (Missanabie, Ont.) include: John Sanders (1888-1898), S. H. Ferris (1898-?).
