Cross Lake (Man.)

The Cross Lake Indian Reserve is located approximately 190 air kilometers south of Thompson and 520 air kilometers north of Winnipeg along the shore of the Nelson River, where it enters Cross Lake. As of December 31, 2002; the Band has an on-reserve population of 4216 and an off-reserve population of 1733. The traditional language of the community is Cree.
