(1854 Brighton, Sussex, England - 1942) Came to Canada in 1871; member of the congregation of St. Thomas', Hamilton (1871-1887); taught school at Muskoka Mills (1887); Catechist at Schreiber & Chapleau (1888); Deacon: 1888, Priest: 1890 Algoma; Secretary to Diocesan Councils and Synods (1892-1935); SPG Missionary on St. Joseph's Island (1888-1890); Sudbury 'and parts adjacent' (1890-1892); Burk's Falls (1892-1898); Sturgeon Falls (1898-1902); Rural Dean of Nipissing (1899); St. John the Evangelist, Sault Ste. Marie (1902-1910); St. Mary Magdalene, Sturgeon Falls (1910-1936); Editor of "Algoma Missionary News" (1892-1918).
