Holy Trinity Anglican Church (Little Current, Ont.) is a church in the Holy Trinity Anglican Parish (Little Current, Ont.) on Manitoulin Island. The church was formerly part of the Sheguiandah Mission; it separated in March 1897.
The Holy Trinity Church was completed on August 15, 1886, before which irregular services were held in a log building by Rev. J. W. Sims with help from Mr. Sam McLean and Mr. William Rowe. The church was built from the generous donation by Mr. R. A. A. Jones (London, England) and family members of the Honourable Robert Jones (Montreal). The church was consecrated on July 31, 1887 by the Right Reverend Edward Sullivan.
In 1912, Mr. John Dawson built the Shaftesbury Hall to be used as a parish hall, while also being open for use to the rest of the community. The Hall was torn down in 1974.
The rectory was renovated in 1923, the building having been bought in April, 1900. The later years of the 1920s, the church received many donations in memory of family and congregation members. These included the credence table, candlesticks, bookmarkers, chalice, paten, altar frontal, and flag pole. In 1930 a stained glass window was installed, depicting Christ knocking at the door. On May 13, 1931, the Right Reverend R. R. Smith consecrated the cemetery. In 1981, work began on a new parish hall. The sod was turned on April 26 of that year. The narthex and parish hall were dedicated by the Right Reverend F. F. Nock on September 21, 1981. During the summer of 1984 Holy Trinity underwent substantial renovations including interior and exterior restoration and improvements.
On January 1, 1986 Holy Trinity Anglican Church declared itself to be a self-supporting parish. Holy Trinity celebrated its one hundred years of pastoral service on May 24th and 25th, 1986.
