St. George's Anglican Church (Echo Bay, Ont.), 1964St. George's Anglican Church (Echo Bay, Ont.) is part of the multi-point Anglican Parish of St. Joseph and St. George (St. Joseph Island, Ont.).

The mission in Echo Bay was initially grouped with the missions of Desbarats and Sylvan Valley. Rev. Frost from Garden River occasionally held services in the area, until the missionary Rev. G. S. Phillips came for the summer of 1907. The area was without a priest from September 1907 to May 1908, when Mr. H. Godfrey Watts, student-in-charge, took residence in Echo Bay.

By December 1909 the church in Echo Bay was quickly nearing completion. St. George's Anglican Church (Echo Bay, Ont.) was opened by Bishop Thorneloe in 1910. The first resident priest-in-charge was Rev. W. E. Phillips, starting his official services in March 1910. He also administered to Desbarats, Sylvan Valley, and Bar River.

The church was not consecrated until September 4, 1932 as the debt upon it had not been paid off. It was consecrated by the Right Reverend Rocksborough Remington Smith. In the twenty years between 1940 and 1960 the church underwent many improvements and changes including: re-roofing, creating a new foundation, constructing new concrete steps at the entrance, installation of new siding, and the installation of a new oil heating system. As well, a memorial window and memorial cross were donated.

St. George's celebrated its centennial during the summer of 1978. In 1979 the parish of St. Joseph and St. George became self-supporting. This church is currently still in operation and the lay incumbent is Susan Montague Koyle.
