History Biographical: 

Don Jackson holds a B.A. (Hons), and an M.A. (Toronto). His research interests include political theory, constitutional law, political economy, international relations, and Indigenous politics and Canadian law.  He served as a Professor in the Law and Politics department of Algoma University from 1974-2014.  He was the founding director of the Shingwauk Project.

Scope Content: 

Fonds comprises  records documenting Professor Don Jackson's activities as a faculty member at Algoma University College and later Algoma University and as the founding director of the Shingwauk Project.  Includes minutes and reports of committees, faculty correspondence, grant applications, departmental memorandum, research records, and other materials.
