The Physical Plant Department at Algoma University is responsible for the up-keep and maintenance of the University’s grounds and buildings as well as the planning, development, and construction of new infrastructure. The department is responsible for logistics and mail services, security, and energy management.
Physical plant staff also work with vendors and community partners to coordinate new construction and renovations of existing buildings and infrastructure.

Fonds comprises records that document the activities and function of the Physical Plant Department at Algoma University. Includes construction and building photographs.
The Office of Advancement and External Relations fonds also includes photographs of campus development and constriction projects undertake by Algoma University College.
Materials in accession 2016-008 were given to Don Jackson by Jeremy Wilhelm, Director of Physical Plant, to be used in research for the Algoma University 50th anniversary celebration in 2015. Transferred to Algoma University Archives on April 5, 2016.
