Series comprises photographic negatives of students, staff, and activities at the residential schools which existed in Spanish Ontario. The series also includes a small number of photographs from surrounding Indigenous communities in Northern Ontario.
The majority of the photographs in this series were taken by students at the school, as part of a photography class.
Box 4 of the series has been stored separately. This section of the series contains nitrate glass plates which require special storage considerations.

Materials in accession 2011-044 were donated to the Shingwauk Residential Schools Centre by Jane Mundy on behalf of Rev. Father Maurice in approximately 2008.
