Series comprises reproductions of an index to data files by list number concerning former Indian Residential Schools across Canada. Actual files are held by Library and Archives Canada.
Records are “summary sheets” for files, created as the file was reviewed for the Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples in the 1990s.
No restrictions apply.
Reproductions are dependent on the fragility of the originals. Researchers must adhere to applicable copyright law and privacy legislation and permission of the copyright holder is required to publish from the fonds.
