St. Stephen's Anglican Chapel (Vankoughnet, Ont.), formerly St. Stephen's Anglican Church (Vankoughnet, Ont.) was closed in 2011. At the time of closure, it was part of St. Thomas' Anglican Parish (Bracebridge, Ont.).
Prior to the construction of St. Stephen's, the Anglicans in the area worshipped in each other's homes, then in the log schoolhouse when it was opened in 1879. The Diocese of Algoma purchased the property for St. Stephen's about 1890 and local residents cleared the land for the church foundation and cemetery (also St. Stephen's). In 1891 local residents completed the church. The pews, communion rails and floors were made by local men with wood from Cook's Mill. The church was consecrated on January 12, 1891.
