The position of Registrar was the second of the original administrative positions created at Algoma University College in 1966. Typically, a registrar processes registration requests, schedules classes and maintains class lists, enforces the rules for entering or leaving classes, and keeps a permanent record of grades and marks.

Includes annual course calendars, viewbooks, and discipline specific information issued by the Office of the Registrar at Algoma University, Laurentian University course calendars for the period during Algoma's affiliation with that institution; and correspondence and forms concerning student awards at AUC (1974-1976).
