Christ Church Anglican Parish (Latchford, Ont.) is comprised of one congregation at Christ Anglican Church (Latchford, Ont.).
The Bishop of Algoma visited the area in 1905 and held a service. Afterwards, Rev. R. A. Cowling of Haileybury held several services in the school house. With the help of Messrs Dawson Woods, the two constructed a church building in 1906. The first service was held midway in August, the church only partially completed. Mr. H. T. Rickards (student) held services until October, which was followed by vacancy until Rev. W. E. Phillips was transferred to Cobalt and Latchford from Thessalon. But the Latchford church was unfit for winter and services were held in private homes. The congregation raised money that December to purchase a stove and lamps, and to pay back Messrs Woods for his labour and material. The church continued to be worked on in 1907.
By early 1913, a church bell given by Rev. E. H. C. Stephenson was installed.
The Latchford church went through a period of disuse prior to 1922, when it is noted to have been revived by the attention of Rev. T. H. Young from Cobolt.
