History Biographical: 

Jean Lind (1913-1990) was a dietician, household science teacher, and Canadian Girls In Training (CGIT) leader at Mount Elgin Indian Residential School in Muncey, Ontario from 1934-1941. Jean Lind married Rev. Dr. Douglas Brydon (1911-2007) in 1941. 

Scope Content: 

Collection comprises photographs collected by Miss Jean Lind of activities and students at the Mount Indian Elgin Residential School.

Notes: 

Photographs with dates after 1937 were sent to Jean Lind by her former collegues.

Material in accession 2015-051 was donated to the Shingwauk Residential Schools Centre by Linda Brydon, the daughter of Jean Lind, in November 2015.
