History Biographical: 

Ken Ingle is the son of of Ruth A. Cox-Ingle and Fred B. Ingle. Ruth was a Laundry Matron at Shingwauk Indian Residential School from 1936-1955. Fred B. Ingle also worked at the Shingwauk school.

Scope Content: 

Fonds comprises letters, estate documentation, and publications about the Ingle family, Sault Ste Marie, and the Shingwauk Indian Residential School.

Ruth A. Cox-Ingle fonds also contains material donated by the Ingle family and relevant to the era during which Ken Ingle lived at the Shingwauk school.
