Young, Arthur John (1852-1947)

(14 March 1852 London, England - 28 August 1947 Toronto) - Deacon: 1885, Priest: 1886 Algoma; SPG Missionary at Magnetawan (1885-1892); St. John's, North Bay (1892-1899); Public School Board of North Bay; Manitowaning (1899-1909); SPG Missionary at St. Saviour's, Blind River (1909-1915); (1915) Retired; Magnetawan (1918-1920); First Rural Dean of Nipissing; Twice Rural Dean of Algoma Deanery; Secretary of Triennial Council (1895); Educated at King's College, London Canon (1906). Daughter married R.H. Fleming. First clergy to benefit from Superannuation Fund. Afflicted with "nervous malady" in 1911.
