Educated at the Church Missionary College, Islington (1879); Deacon: 1881, Priest: 1884 Montreal; Christ Church, Sorel, Diocese of Montreal (1886); CMS Missionary at Lucknow (1881-1882); St. James', Clapham, Surrey (1883-1884); St. Stephen, Lachine, Quebec (1884-1885); St. Luke's, Eardly, Quebec (1885-1886); St. Luke's Pro-Cathedral, Sault Ste. Marie, (June 1890 to November 1890).
