Educated at St. Catharine's College, Cambridge (1893); Deacon: 1888 Carl for Algoma Priest: 1890 Algoma; L. Pro Rov. of Cant. (1894); Secretary of Algoma Association in England (1896); Uffington (1888-1890); Holy Trinity, Shoreditch (1891-1892); Milton Combs (1893-1894); Assistant Chaplain at St.Catherine's College, Cambridge (1893-1895); Warden Rector of the Victoria Homes (1897) and the National Institute for Persons Requiring Care and Control (1902); Member of the Royal Commission on the Control of the Feeble Minded (1904). Wrote: "Life in Algoma: or Three Years of a Clergyman's Life and Church Work in that Diocese", London, SPG, (1894) & "Manitoulin: or Five Years of Church Work Among Ojibway Indians and Lumbermen, resident upon that Island or in its vicinity", London: Simpkin, Marshall, Hamilton Kent & Co. Ltd. 1895.
