History Biographical: 

In the 1970s Searchmont congregation was part of the Sault North Anglican under the direction of Rev. Jerry Smith. Mission Services were held at the Searchmont Public School beginning in July 1976, with weekly services starting in September of the same year.  A church school was also operated on Tuesday afternoons following school.
