History Biographical:

St. Luke's Anglican Church (Sucker Creek, Ont.) is a church in the Holy Trinity Anglican Parish (Little Current, Ont.) on Manitoulin Island.

The church was first built in 1885, and later rebuilt in 1912. On October 18, 1918 it was consecrated by Archbishop George Thorneloe.

In 1977 St. Luke's was gifted an ornate wooden altar rail made and designed by a member of the local First Nation community, Mr. Eli Madahbee. The altar rail was a gift from Miss Benna Fuller in gratitude for her friendship with Mrs. Egerton Lester, who was heavily involved with St. Luke's.
