Educated at the College of Resurrection, Mirfield (1918); Deacon: 1926, Priest: 1928 Algoma; Uffington (1926-1927); St. Simon's/St. Brice's, North Bay with Callender (1926-1931); St. Ambrose, Bornemouth (1931-1936); Illingworth (Church of St. Andrew's, Holfield) (1936-1937); Vicar of Linthwaite, Diocese of Wakefield (1937-1950); Horbury (1950-1955); Mendlesham, Stowmarket, Suffolk (1955).
