Marie with Thomas Appleby; Sheguiandah (1876-1878) with Frederick Frost as teacher; Bruce Mines (1878-1880); Garden River with Sugar, Cockburn & St. Joseph Islands (1880-1882); St. James Episcopal Church in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan (1882-1895); Bishop of Alaska (1895-1942). Elected Bishop of South Dakota in 1911 but declined.
