(8 September 1875 Cashel, Co. Tipperary, Ireland - 6 October 1957). Educated at Trinity College School, Port Hope and Wycliffe College, Toronto; Deacon: 1898, Priest: 1899 Moosenee; Garden River, (summers of 1893, 1894, 1895 & 1897) with brothers William & George; Missionary to the Ojibwe & Cree on James Bay (1898-1912); Chaplain World War One; Church of the Ascension, Hamilton (1912-1927); Christ Church, Vancouver (1927); Dean of New Westminster (1929); Bishop of Athabaska (1931); St. Paul's, Toronto (1932-1943); Bishop of Moosenee (1943-1952); Archbishop of Moosenee & Metropolitan of Ontario (1952-1954); Wrote: "Cree Hymn Book"; "Life of Bishop Sullivan", (1916); "One Day at a Time", (1957) (autobiography).
