Durham & Trinity College, Toronto (Osler Prize) AIME (1922) FRES (1935); Mining Engineer Diploma; Association of Institution of Mining Engineers (England); Deacon: 1924, Priest: 1925 Diocese of Ontario; Selby with Kingsford and Point Ann, Diocese of Ontario (1925-1927); Bala, MacTier & Mortimer's Point with Torrence & Southwood (1927-1929); Buskhorn, Weston, Diocese of Sarum (1939); St. Paul's, Leicester (1930-1931); St. John the Evangelist, Spittlegate, Grantham (1931-1932); Grasby (1932-1939).
