Hunter, William Henry (1865-1950)

(27 December 1865 Toronto- 1950). Educated at Wycliffe College, Toronto (1900); Divinity student at North Bay (1897) & Silverwater (1898); Deacon: 1900, Priest: 1901 Algoma; Christ Church, Korah (1899-1942) with Goulais Bay, Prince township & Holy Trinity, Tarentorus, Sault Ste. Marie; revived services at St. Peter's, Sault Ste. Marie (1931); Canon (1929); Retired to Second Line, Sault Ste. Marie & buried in Korah cemetery. Married on the 27th of December 1900 to Eva Emilyn Currey (1872-1956); Children: Margaret (1901-1903), Douglas (b. 1903)[lived at Penetanguishene]; Henry Thorneloe (1907-1922)[died of a fractured skull after a fall from a wagon]; Evelyn, Mrs. J.K. McArthur of Toronto; Muriel, Mrs. M. Heirmbecker of Waterloo; Dorothy, Mrs. J.F. Mowat of Toronto; and Grace, Mrs. Ed Arnold of Hamilton.
