Ferris, Samuel Henry (1860-1920)

(15 November 1860- 19 July 1920); grew up at Jocelyn on St. Joseph's Island; public school teacher (1880-1904); Divinity student at White River & Missanabie (1906); Educated at Trinity College, Toronto; Deacon: 1906, Priest: 1907 Algoma; Garden River (1911-1919); Missionary on the CPR Railway in Algoma (1906-1911); incapacitated (1917-1919); retired in June of 1919 and lived with daughter Madge, a teacher in the Anglican day school at Garden River.
