DuMoulin, John Philip

MA; Rector of St. Thomas Church, Hamilton; Elected Bishop of Algoma by the Provincial Synod of the Province of Canada on the 14th of December 1872 at Montreal. DuMoulin accepted the election but later reversed his decision. He later became Rector and Canon of St. James Cathedral, Toronto.DuMoulin was elected Bishop of Niagara in May of 1896 and was consecrated on the 24th of June 1897. He married Frances Mary
Brough.
