Ditchburn, William

Lay Reader at Church of the Redeemer, Rosseau, (1876-1928). Postmaster, notary public & village clerk at Rosseau. Mrs. Ditchburn was the first president of Women's Missionary Society. William's brothers, John, Arthur and Henry were boat builders: canoes, row boats and sailboats. In 1912 the business was enlarged and moved to Gravenhurst. The lecturn at the Church of the Redeemer is dedicated to the memory of William
Ditchburn.
