(Born in Ireland) Deacon: 1850, Priest: 1850 Quebec; Educated at Bishop's College, Lennoxville & Trinity College, Cambridge BD (1855) DD (1883); SPG Missionary at Walpole Island (1844-1845); Travelling Missionary to the Quarentine Stations in the Diocese of Quebec (1850's); Sault Ste. Marie (June 1865 to June 1866)- recalled on the premise that the appointment was premature; Rector of the Church of the Ascension, Port Perry, Diocese of Toronto (1889); Daughter Dora Henrietta Carry (born 1853) was the governess and superintendent of the Wawanosh School for Indian Girls in Sault Ste. Marie. She alter married Peter Trimble Rowe, first bishop of Alaska.
