Notes: 

This book was originally compiled by the Diocese of Moosonee.  It was later reprinted by the Highway Book Shop in 1971.

The recipes were contributed and collected in Cree and English by seven local Indigenous women living in Fort George. These women included: Juliette Iserhoff, Maryann Sam, Martha Pachano, Sally Matthew, Minnie Shem, Lily Pepabino, and Edna Matthew. 

The drawings in the cookbook were created by students at St. Philips Indian Residential School (Fort George, Que.).
