History Biographical: 

Bernice Logan (nee Mason) (19 Jun 1931 - 29 Jan 2022) was a staff member at two residential schools. Bernice taught at All Saints Residential School school in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan from 1949-1952. She taught at the Shingwauk Indian Residential School in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario from 1952-1955.

In the early 2000s Bernice Logan formed a group called the Association of Former Indian Residential School Workers.

Bernice is pictured on right with a group of students at the Shingwauk Indian Residential School.

Scope Content: 

Fonds comprises "The Teaching Wigwam" publications written by Bernice Logan. Fonds also includes photographs of students and staff from Indian Residential Schools where Bernice Logan taught.
