History Biographical: 

The Deanery of Algoma is one of the primary administrative sub-divisions of the Diocese of Algoma. The Deanery of Algoma 17 churches and one chapel, is served by ten clergy, and encompasses the communities of Blind River, Echo Bay, Garden River First Nation, Goulais River, Hawk Junction, Heyden, Jocelyn, Llewellyn Beach, Sault Ste Marie, Thessalon, Wawa, and White River.

The Archdeacon of the Diocese of Algoma is Rev'd Roberta Wilson-Garrett.  The Regional Dean is the Rev'd Richard Reed.

Scope Content: 

Fonds comprises records documenting the activities at and the functions of the Deanery of Algoma.  Includes minutes, reports, photographs and other materials.
