Accession comprises a blanket made by the women of Garden River First Nation for Mr and Mrs George Lye King upon their retirement from the Shingwauk Home.
George Ley King was the Principal at the Shingwauk Home from 1896 to 1907, his wife was the matron of the School for the same period.
