The Garnier Residential School (Spanish, Ont.) had a photography club and a photography lab on site. Many of the photographs in this collection of students from the Garnier Residential School and St. Joseph's Girls School (Spanish, Ont) are images that were created using this on site photograph lab.
Additionally, many of the informal candid photographs in this collection were taken by students at Garnier. The photography club was run by Rev. Father William Maurice, a teacher at the school.
Series comprises photographs of the Residential Schools in Spanish Ontario, this includes photographs of staff, students, buildings, and activities.
