It was my original goal to "develop a [Microsoft] Windows program in C++ which will permit the molecular biologist to enter and analyze DNA, RNA and protein sequences through a graphical interface."' I hoped to be able to create a program that would perform many of the basic functions that are important in analyzing a gene. My thesis meets this overall goal.
