Consists of records documenting the Office of the Dean of Algoma University College, an office whose functions are now divided between the Office of the President and the Office of the Academic Dean. The position was only held by Dr. Robert G. Ewing. The Office of the Dean evolved out changes demanded by the recommendations by the Royal Commission of Inquiry into Algoma University College in 1976.
Records include correspondence, memoranda, publications, reports, Ontario Councial of University Affairs correspondence and briefs, committee records, and budgetary, financial and administrative records.
