St. Giles’ Anglican Church (Hawk Junction, Ont.) is part of the Lake Superior Anglican Parish.
The church building used to be named Northkirk Presbyterian Church and was built in 1937. The present church was dedicated on November 14, 1963.
In 1965 the church switched from a space heater to renting a gas furnace. The manse was removed.
Although the vestry originally wanted to add a basement to the church, replacing the foundation seemed more reasonable. This was carried out some time between the summer of 1970 and 1971.
In 1977 the church was repaneled and had a new front door installed. In 1979 the vestry decided to tear down the bell tower and sell the material to add to the building fund.
In 1980 the new bell tower was erected, although it is recorded that someone had shot or cut the pull rope. The chimney was replaced and rebuilt in 1981.
