Christ Anglican Church (Purbrook, Ont.) is a church within the Christ Church Anglican Parish (Purbrook, Ont).
This church was built early in the settlement of the area. By 1884 the church was built and interior finished; the Bishop visited in December. Even this early in the settlement of the area, the roadway between Purbrook and Uffington was a fairly easy one of six miles. Special services seem to have been done with joined efforts; one record documents an Easter service in 1885, where some women from the Purbrook congregation walked to Uffington and the two choirs joined for an evening song. Purbrook's Christ Anglican Church was, at some times, served by the S.S.J.E. (Society of St. John the Evangelist).
In 1891, large renovation projects were completed. The roof was replaced, the wall height reduced, the east end removed, an apse built, and the addition of a vestry and porch. The building was consecrated a year later on March 13, 1892.
The church's interior was renovated in 1930 which included new altar hangings. The exterior was worked on in 1932; the chimney was repaired and they installed a stone-based bell, an outdoor Calvary cross, and planted a garden. The bell and Calvary cross were dedicated on August 21 of that year.
