Beaded sash

General Description:

A beaded stash. One end is finished with a textile wrapping that included to metal closure hooks. The other end of the sash included a textile backing and corresponding slots for the closure hooks.

Closure hooks are rusted. Some fraying of edging. Dirt and stained throughout with some discoloration to the beads.

Notes:

Was made by Jennie Klodt from Sioux Lookout, Ontario and gifted to Jane Simpson. Extra beads from the making of this sash were used to bead a pillow cover that is also included in this collection.
