The Shingwauk Home 1892. By Wilson's resignation in 1892 the Shingwauk was a largely self-sufficent residential industrial educational complex. From the St. Mary's River, left to right: The Hospital (with adjoining Women's Wing), the Main Building, the Bishop Fauquier Memorial Chapel, the Band Stand, the new classroom building, and the Industrial Building. Not visible are the barn, cemetery, the farm man's house, the factory and the factory foreman's house.
