Series comprises documentation from Library and Archives Canada and its predecessors regarding the administration and establishment of Shingwauk Hall. Includes correspondence, payment lists, memorandum, and other material.

Pelican Lake Indian Residential School, was located at Pelican Lake about six miles from the town of Sioux Lookout, Ontario. It operated from 1926-1973 and was affiliated with the Church of England.
