History Biographical: 
Arthur Bear Chief is a a member of the Blackfoot band, in Gleichen Alberta. He attended the Old Sun School in Glichen. In 1960 he became employed part time at Old Sun. He also worked at Shingwauk Hall from August 1963-1964 and 1966-1967. He also worked at Horden Hall in Moose Factory. He formed Judo clubs at the Shingwauk and Moose Factory schools. Arthur Bear Chief also taught gymnastics at the Shingwauk Indian Residential School.
